This article is devoted to the study of archaisms in the Russian language,
their terminology, characteristics, classification, and usage. It examines the use of
archaisms in different styles of literature, such as scientific, artistic, and journalistic. It
identifies obsolete words in spoken and written language and determines which archaisms
continue to be used in modern language.
