This article presents a comparative analysis of the lexical-semantic fields of the concept of "modernity" in English and Uzbek. The results show that while the concept of "modernity" in English is associated with technological progress and innovation, the concept of "modernity" in Uzbek is expressed in harmony with national values and traditions.
