Abstract

Diplomatic etiquette is an essential element of international relations that ensures respectful and effective communication between states. It includes a set of formal rules, traditions, and behavioral norms that guide diplomats during official meetings, negotiations, and international events. In the modern globalized world, diplomatic interaction involves representatives from diverse cultural and social backgrounds, which increases the importance of proper etiquette. Modern diplomatic etiquette not only preserves traditional diplomatic protocols but also adapts to contemporary forms of communication, including digital diplomacy and online negotiations. Understanding cultural sensitivities, professional conduct, and appropriate diplomatic behavior helps prevent misunderstandings and promotes constructive dialogue between nations. Therefore, the study of modern diplomatic etiquette is important for strengthening international cooperation and maintaining stable diplomatic relations.
