Abstract

The article analyzes foreign experience in the implementation and use of mobile information services in libraries. Using the examples of libraries in the United States, Great Britain, Germany, France, South Korea, and Qatar, the functional capabilities of mobile applications and platforms, their user orientation, inclusiveness, and integration potential are examined. The study identifies key trends such as the transition from fragmented solutions to unified ecosystems, multilingual access, remote and continuous use, promotion of digital cultural heritage, and attention to the needs of users with disabilities. The article argues that mobile services transform the modern library from a passive repository of resources into an active digital intermediary between the user and information.
