This article analyzes the role of educational principles in the modern education system. Particular attention is paid to the principles of scientific approach, systematicity and consistency, conscious and active participation, visualization, individualization and differentiation in the context of globalization and digital transformation. The issues of improving educational effectiveness through innovative pedagogical technologies are discussed. The theoretical and practical significance of educational principles in ensuring the quality of education is substantiated.
