Keywords:
Type 1 diabetes, ovarian function, ovulation, hormonal regulation, reproductive systemAbstract
In women with type 1 diabetes, ovarian function and the ovulation
process are directly associated with hormonal imbalance and glycemic control. The study
results revealed delayed follicular development, decreased LH and FSH levels, and
progesterone deficiency. Individual insulin therapy and improved glycemic control can
normalize reproductive system function.
