Abstract

This article presents information on the significance of the Persian language in the contemporary world. The importance of this language is examined based on various categories. In particular, the historical, cultural, political, and economic significance of the Persian language is revealed. The distinctive features of the Persian Arabic alphabet and the role of the Persian language in the fields of science and education are explained. In addition, the Persian language today plays a very important role in diplomatic relations, translation studies, foreign trade, tourism, international journalism,  and logistics. This article serves to partially reveal the importance of the Persian language as one of the prominent Eastern languages of the modern era.
