This article discusses the etiology of perinatal encephalopathy, its clinical
manifestations during the neonatal period, diagnostic methods, treatment principles, and
approaches to prevention. Special emphasis is placed on the importance of early diagnosis,
therapeutic hypothermia, and individualized rehabilitation programs. The article is
intended for students in pediatric training and practicing neonatologists.
