Abstract

In this article, the role and importance of the pragmatic approach in the process of developing written speech is analyzed from a scientific and pedagogical point of view. In it, the need to use language units in the form of students' written speech is justified, appropriate to the situation and based on communicative intent. The content of the pragmatic approach, its possibilities and effectiveness in the development of written speech competence are explained through examples.
