Abstract

This scientific article analyzes the current state of foreign direct investment (FDI) flows to developing countries in 2024-2026, their impact on sustainable economic growth, and existing challenges. The research is based on the latest reports from the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), the International Monetary Fund (IMF), and the World Bank. The article examines the changing dynamics of investment flows in the context of the digital economy, green energy, and the restructuring of global value chains. Empirical analyses indicate that FDI serves not only as a capital flow but also as a factor for technological innovation and human capital development, ensuring sustainable growth, provided that strong institutional governance is in place.
