Abstract

This article analyzes the portrayal of female characters in the works of Alice Munro, a prominent master of the modern short story and Nobel Prize winner. The study explores female psychology, the role of women in society and family, as well as the lyrical and psychological descriptive tools in her stories. The research scientifically substantiates Munro's unique style — her ability to express grand human dramas through small events.
