This article examines the formation of the personality of primary school students, the patterns of their development, and the processes of adaptation to the social environment. The interrelationship of factors such as heredity, environment, and upbringing affecting personality development is highlighted from the perspective of primary education pedagogy. Furthermore, the article provides conclusions regarding the student's acquisition of a new social status as a "schoolchild" and the pedagogical factors of socialization within a group.
