This article analyzes the pedagogical conditions for preparing students for scientific research activities in the process of teaching natural sciences. The study reveals the role and significance of organizational-methodological, information-resource, and psychological-pedagogical conditions in developing scientific research competencies. The article addresses issues related to improving curricula, effectively organizing laboratory sessions, establishing scientific clubs, utilizing information and communication technologies, and fostering a collaborative "teacher-student" environment with motivational support. Research findings indicate that the systematic and high-quality provision of pedagogical conditions plays a decisive rolein developing students' independent thinking, creative approaches, and scientific inquiry skills. Practical recommendations are provided for improving assessment criteria for scientific research activities and implementing a system of continuous scientific training.
