This research explores how digitalization of water circulation systems in industrial enterprises leads to resource efficiency. The main objective is to analyze the economic foundations of implementing digital technologies for effective use of water resources and increased economic efficiency in industry. The study examines the impact of monopoly on price formation in the water resources market, the reduction of production costs and resource savings due to digitalization, and the economic effectiveness of innovative technologies. Changes in pricing by monopoly entities as a result of digitalization and their effect on market equilibrium are also discussed.
