This article provides an in-depth analysis of the psychological and pedagogical foundations, modern methods, and practical approaches to developing creative abilities in primary school students.The study covers the process of forming creative thinking in children, its role in overall child development, the current state of this issue in the education system of Uzbekistan, and international experiences. The article is based on the theories of foreign scholars such as J.P. Guilford and E.P. Torrance, as well as the works of Uzbek researchers – Jumayeva Habiba Gafurovna, Saparova Umida Bakhromovna, Shodmonova Abera Shodievna, and others. It demonstrates that the use of creative tasks, didactic games, project-based activities, and extracurricular work in the educational process can significantly enhance students‟ independent thinking, problemsolving, and ability to generate original ideas. The results emphasize the importance of creating a creative environment in primary classes and provide practical recommendations for teachers and methodologists.
