Abstract

In medicine, X-ray machines are widely used for non-invasive
diagnosis of internal organs. They generate ionizing radiation, which can damage cell membranes and DNA structures, leading to mutations and cell death. High doses of
radiation can cause long-term negative effects, including cancer, genetic mutations, and
reproductive system disorders. This article analyzes safety standards, preventive measures,
and the possibilities of reducing radiation levels through modern technologies. The topic
requires ongoing scientific research for both individuals working with ionizing radiation
and patients.
