TYPES AND FORMATION OF PARTICIPLE FORMS IN THE MODERN RUSSIAN LANGUAGE

This article explores the system of participles in the modern Russian language, their classification, and morphological characteristics of their formation. The study examines the grammatical features of participles as a hybrid form combining the properties of verbs and adjectives. Particular attention is paid to the rules of suffixal formation of active and passive participles in the present and past tenses. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the analysis of typical difficulties faced by philology students during the derivation of participle forms and the proposal of methodological recommendations to overcome them.
