Abstract

This article examines the socio-economic development of Jizzakh region during the years of independence, structural changes in the branches of the economy, the rising standard of living of the population, and major reforms carried out in education, healthcare and infrastructure. The profound transformations of 1991–2024 are scientifically highlighted, analyzed and substantiated, reflecting the overall regional progress achieved.
