This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the sustainable economic, social, and political development of the United States of America in the postWorld War II period (1945–1970s). The study examines the impact of the Marshall Plan, the Bretton Woods monetary system, the Servicemen's Readjustment Act (GI Bill, 1944), government investment, and the military-industrial complex on economic growth. Using historical-comparative, statistical, and document-analysis methods, the article identifies the reasons for the rise of the USA as a global leader in the second half of the twentieth century. The findings demonstrate that state intervention in the economy, investment in fundamental scientific research, the expansion of the middle class, and technological innovations secured America's so-called "Golden Age." The conclusions of the article have practical relevance for the sustainable development model of the modern Republic of Uzbekistan.
