The article analyzes investment and innovation factors for overcoming the middle-income trap in Uzbekistan. Particular attention is paid to the need to shift from an economic growth model based mainly on investment to a strategy that combines investment, technological adoption, and innovation. The paper substantiates the importance of developing innovation infrastructure, stimulating private investment in research and development, improving the effectiveness of investment policy, and strengthening the institutional environment. It concludes that investment and innovation transformation is a key condition for ensuring sustainable economic growth, increasing the competitiveness of the national economy, and achieving Uzbekistan’s transition to the group of upper-middleincome countries.
