Abstract

This article examines the concept of property rights within the theory of civil law and current legislation, analyzing their legal nature and place in the system of objects of civil rights. It explores the relationship between property rights and real rights, obligatory rights, corporate rights, and intellectual property rights, and distinguishes between the notions of “rights to property” and “property rights.” Particular attention is paid to the issue of classifying property rights as material or immaterial goods, as well as to their transferability and economic content. The study also considers circumstances in which property rights function as independent objects of civil legal relations. The article substantiates the necessity of clarifying the doctrinal understanding of property rights and revising their position within the system of civil law objects.
