This article analyzes the formation and development of women's rights in the history of Afghanistan based on historical stages. It examines the role of women in socio-economic, political, and cultural life, their legal status, and the impact of various political regimes on women's lives from the twentieth to the twenty-first century, drawing on scholarly sources. In addition, the article analyzes the achievements and existing challenges in ensuring women's rights in the contemporary period.
