THE CONTRIBUTION OF UZBEKS TO THE DEFENSE OF THE MOTHERLAND DURING WORLD WAR II

This article highlights the selfless contribution of the Uzbek people
during World War II in defending their homeland. Based on historical sources, it analyzes
the heroism of soldiers on the front lines, the tireless labor of home front workers, and the
role of cultural figures in fostering morale. The strategic importance of Uzbekistan’s
territory during the war is also examined.
