This scientific article explores one of the pressing issues in modern dentistry: early detection of dental caries and the improvement of its prevention based on the ICDAS II International Caries Detection and Assessment System II) international framework. The study analyzes the clinical diagnostic criteria of ICDAS II, its advantages over traditional WHO criteria, and its capabilities in detecting minimal enamel demineralization stages. Furthermore, scientific and practical recommendations are formulated to enhance non-invasive preventive and therapeutic measures, as well as remineralization therapy for early caries lesions
