Abstract

This article theoretically analyzes the differences in intellectual
development in monozygotic (one-gene) and dizygotic (two-gene) twins. The study aims
to determine the role of genetic and environmental factors in the formation of cognitive
abilities. It is theoretically substantiated that the contribution of heredity to intellectual
development is 50-80 percent, and the rest depends on environmental influences.
