This article analyzes the process of forming professionally important
qualities in the personality of a pedagogue from a pedagogical-psychological perspective.
The personal and professional traits of a teacher are examined as key factors determining the effectiveness of the educational process. The stages of formation of professional qualities, their psychological mechanisms, and pedagogical conditions are revealed. The research results indicate that professionally significant qualities are formed through higher education, practical activity, and self-development. The article is based on theoretical analysis and synthesis methods. The findings have practical significance for improving the system of training pedagogical personnel.
