This article analyzes the psychological characteristics of students’ learning motivation, the factors influencing it, and ways to increase motivation in the educational process. The importance of personal interests, social environment, encouragement, goal setting, development of individual abilities, and the use of modern technologies is highlighted. It is substantiated that the formation of intrinsic motivation is an important condition for improving the effectiveness of education.
